Hoy es el veintisiete de noviembre
Hoy es el martes

  1. Firman la lista....Sign-in 
  2. Sacan el paquete.....take out your packet....you will need it in class today....make sure that you finished packet page 19 and that your dialogue is written in TWO DIFFERENT colors or writing utensils to tell who is speaking. 
    1. Packet pages 19-20 are worth 20 points...must have both pages done to receive credit. 
  3. Sacan los apuntes del examen....take out your Chapter 1 Exam Review Notes
  4. Go to the station with your GROUP NUMBER that you were given during class yesterday and you wrote at the top of your paper. 
    1. ​Students will complete the station with their group number then go on to the next station as soon as they are done.
    2. Students MUST COMPLETE at least 3 stations during class today. 
    3. Students will be graded on their work during class today and must turn in whatever they finish at the end of the hour to the class folder on the wall. 
    4. These are review stations for the chapter exam next Monday. 

Hoy en la clase....
Students will review concepts from Chapter 1 with a hands-on activity in each of the five stations. 

  1. Station #1: Look at the list on page 38 of your book and 1st, write down any vocabulary that you find challenging AND important to remember.                                             
    1. Next, match the question words to their meaning in English and either copy the question word and each of the meanings below, OR copy the lyrics in order to the question word song... OJO- there will be some new ones add them to your list!
  2. Station #2: Review 1.1 los artículos y los sustantivos. First copy the review notes. Next, Number 1-18. Then use the notes to review the vocabulary. Read the clue and write the answer with the correct article in spanish. 
  3. Station #3: 1.2 Los números.
    1. List the 4 números with accents.
    2. List the 4 meanings of hay.
    3. OJO - Son: they are. Más: plus. Menos: minus. ¿Como se dice... How much?(2), How many? (2).
    4. For each school supply below, count how many supplies there are and write the  answer in a complete sentence in Spanish. There is.....or There are.....
      1. Los lápices colorados (colored pencils)
      2. Los marcadores (markers)
      3. Las tijeras (scissors)
      4. La regla (ruler)
  4. Station 4: Pronombres Personales:
    1. Draw the first table listed on the notes and fill in the squares with the personal pronouns.
    2. Then draw the second corresponding table and fill in the squares with the forms of the infinitive ser.
    3. Below the tables write the uses of the infinitive ser:to be and explain in English what an example for each might be. 
      1. la hora
      2. el día
      3. la fecha
      4. la nacionalidad
      5. origen 
      6. descripción física
      7. personalidad
      8. profesión 
      9. identidad de una persona
      10. identidad de una cosa
  5. Station 5: La Hora: Match each of the times in the pictures with the correct sentence or caption in Spanish. When you have finished matching them all....write the down the three most challenging times or captions that were tricky to you. 
    1. Next, in your test review notes number 1-5 and answer the five questions in complete sentences using the schedule pictured on version C of the test. 
    2. For each class, you are going to give both the time AND the day the class is scheduled. OJO: Notice: In English we say a class is on Mondays but it Spanish you will say the class is THE Mondays....los lunes. 
      1. ​Ejemplo: La clase de español es a las ocho y veinte de la mañana los martes. The class of Spanish it is at 8:20 am on Tuesdays

Los Deberes La Tarea

En el paquete pagina veinte, contestan las trece preguntas para la entrevista. In the packet page 20, answer the 13 questions for the interview on the bottom half of the page in complete sentences for the interviews coming up.
