Students will practice matching the spanish -AR infinitive to the picture that corresponds to it's meaning.  

  • Estaciones.....work on your stations for Chapter Two
    • Students will be turning these in today to get a grade for the progress thus far
    • We have had FOUR in-class work days...students if you have been absent you will need to plan to complete some of the station work at home

  2. Sacan las listas de vocabulario (la clase y los verbos -AR)​​ Take out your 2 vocab lists: -AR Infinitivos & La Clase from p76....add andar: to walk as a sinonimo para caminar​
  3. Sacan una hoja de papel nueva y escribir las oraciones en ingles. Take out a new leaf of paper and write the following sentences in english. DO NOT TRANSLATE...move on to #4
  4. Write the following: mucho...a lot...a whole bunch     nada de nada....not at all!
    1. We like to sing in the class of spanish. 
    2. You informal like to eat dinner at home (en casa).
    3. Rosaurio does not like to watch la television not at all!
    4. You formal like to breakfast cereales and juice (zumo/jugo) 
    5. He likes to dance, practice sports (deportes),work, study  and buy shoes. (zapatos)

  • Revisan las reglas de gustar + infinitivo
    • Review the conjugations of the verb gustar + an infinitivo
      • With gustar.....only use third person: gusta o gustan
        • gusta + a million infinitivos ooooo a singular object
        • gustan: only for plural nouns
      • Remember the IOP (me, te, le, nos, os, les) tells WHO likes to do the activity
      • To express an activity you like TO DO use the 3 Person singular conjugation of gustar: gusta
  • Practican el vocabulario de la clase con los materials escolares
    • Practice the new classroom vocab with the classroom material
    • Then practice on the whiteboards with definite and indefinite articles and the verbs...
      • Yo compro....I buy en el mercado
      • Yo tengo....I have en mi mochila
      • Yo deseo...I desire or wish on a shooting star for...
      • Yo necesito...I need...It is necessary to me.

    1. When you get your speaking rubrics and evaluations back, por favor put them in your language and culture portfolio. 
    2. Did you get your Quien Soy Yo Project off the board and put it in your folder??
  3. Sacan paquete página seis.....Take out packet page 6 in the NEW chapter 2 blue packet
    1. If you have BOTH pages 5 & 6 COMPLETELY finished, turn them into the class folder por favor....10 points. If not both done, wait to turn in por favor. 
    2. On page 6, in the box that says las lenguas (languages) add each of the following:
      1. ​el inglés: English
      2. el francés: french
      3. el alemán: german
      4. el español: spanish
  4. Sacan Mi Vida....take out your Mi Vida and open it to the gustar tab.
    1. If you don't have a gustar tab....por favor open to the page after la hora. 
  5. Sacan los papeles para las estaciones​...take out your papers for the stations. 
  6. Sacan los papeles para las conversaciones...Take out your papers for the conversations. 
  7. Repasan los infinitivos -AR. CINCO MINUTOS

  1. Firman la lista 
  2. Turn in your deberes to the class folder on the wall. 
  3. Get a conversation listening sheet off on the table next to the sign-in sheet. 
    1. Read the rubric on the back of your listening sheet to understand how you will be evaluated today
  4. Get a blue essential questions sheet for chapter two
    1. Cut out the essential questions and glue it into the BACK of your Mi Vida under Leccion Dos
    2. Return the rubric to the white table in a NEAT PILE
  5. Get ready for an oral warm up to practice pronunciation with el tabla de silbario. 
After the group warm up for the conversations, please get started on the following. 
  1. ​​​​Get a manila envelope off the table....on one side with bright markers write your NOMBRE EN ESPANOL really big with your apellido (real last name)
  2. On the other side of the manila folder choose one of the Oswaldo Guayasamin coloring pages and cut it out to fit on the folder and then use a glue stick to attach it
  3. Now from the floor.....collect the following items to put in your culture and language portfolio:
    1. Chapter One Green Quiz Packet
    2. Chapter One Quien Soy Yo
    3. Please take your chapter one writing project down from the board and put it in your porfolio also
  4. Por favor take out your Leccion Dos Estaciones Paper and Start the stations working in your oral groups assigned yesterday during class

    • Dos minutos y treinta segundos 
    • RECURSOS: bolded topics form essential questions on poster
    • Grouped by ability level 
    • Free conversation....not scripted nothing you have to say...what CAN you tell about yourself and ask of others
    • Partners will be announced on the day of the assessment as Profe calls students to her desk to complete the assessment
    • There will also be two students listeners who will record what they hear in bullets recorded on the listeners speaking sheet
    • The listeners and speakers will be rotated randomly...not as a group of four
  • Primera 1• Estación 🚉 Orales en grupos de cuatro...Entrevistas en groups of four….bring your listening sheet with you por favor.
  • Segunda 2• Estación Dos 🚉 
    • In your Mi Vida after la hora….make the following tabs….

    • Under the gustar tab in your Mi Vida, copy the notes on the first page of your gustar tab
    • Then in your textbook, practice the vocabulary for leccion dos by completing exercises 4 & 5 on page 41 and exercise 7 on page 42….make sure to record your answers in your stations packet.

Students do not have to complete the desafío....challenge. You do you and work where you are. Due tomorrow by the end of homework center. Profe will begin grading Wednesday /25 pts ​Have you hit turn-in? Unsubmit por favor.
    2. ​Have you finished your ¿Quién soy yo? Revisiones AND elaborations in bold?

    • Por favor complete all station work in your packets. Take out a new piece of paper and Title it: Lección Dos Estaciones: Then below write Grupo Numero and listen for the group number that Profe Assigns you to. This will be the group you perform orals in...and complete the stations in.

Escriben el diálogo con las preguntas esenciales de lección uno ...write a dialogue using the essential questions from chapter one.. This will be fantastic practice for your spontaneous conversation oral assessment tomorrow. Tres minutos.

  4. Sacan paquete pagina 20 para las entrevistas....Take out packet page 20 for your interviews. Students will be finish the interviews as people work on the computers. 
  5. Open your Chromebook and log-in to Google Classroom
    1. Finish the Assignment called Reading Comprehension Leccion Uno Frida Kahlo....por favor read the directions!!!! We will be correcting in DIEZ (10) MINUTES AS A CLASS!!!      /25 points

En la pagina 76 del libro hacen un a lista de vocabulario de los materiales escolares y la clase. Hay 36...On page 76 of your book make a list of the vocabulary Spanish English Spanish of La Clase the red colum on page 76. Don't forget to number.  There are 36.
