  • Open your Mi Vida to the -ER Verb tab and title it "Los Infinitivos -ER" and number 1-8.
  • Open your Mi Vida to the -IR Verb tab and title it "Los Infinitivos -IR" and number 1-9.
  • Profe is after school today in the career center from 3-5....come in if you need help, access to computers or want to study for tomorrow. I can give out activity bus slips at the end.

ANUNCIOS: Students will take the in-class reading comprehension test about Oswaldo Guayasamin after the in-class writing assessment (Quien Soy Yo) on Thursday 
  1. Make sure you are correcting your practice assessments in your packet p16-19
  2. This reading comprehension test will be worth 35-45 points
  3. I will fully explain the assessment when I return on Friday el viernes​

A Empezar ( 25-28 Minutos from the bell!) ...get through as many as possible. Students will be practicing listening exercises to review for the chapter two test and practice for the listening portion.

Sign-in and Read all student expecations for the listening activities hoy:
  • Participate fully...5-10 points of class participation pending number of activities each class finishes
  • Students will write down answers on separate piece of paper
  • Por favor please label/title each exercise on your 5-8 puntos

  2. Turn in packet page 19 to Ms. Ramirez she will check you off on the roll sheet ONLY if you have ALL of packet pg 19 done ✅ while you are completing your stations.
  3. Please take out packet page 18 and look over tonight's homework (finishing packet page 18) Once the bell rings please explain the homework (5 minutos) This is due on Tuesday since we had a snow day and need to catch up.
  4. ANNOUNCEMENTS/ ANUNCIOS:
    1. ​Progress Reports will be sent out at the end of day today. 
    2. Ms. Hatcher will be picking up the late/makeup folders at 3:00 pm sharp so anything you want on the grade report needs to be in the folder before then 

Hoy en la clase....today...

  • Today in-class students with finish two of the first three stations: VHL AND THE SER/ESTAR SENTENCE MIXUP ARE DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD TODAY!
    • This is the last class time students will have to work on these two stations!
      • VHL & GoogleClassroom (20 pts) VHL Central: 15 points and students must get a 70% or higher for the activity to count...if at first you do not succeed try try try again. Please make sure you are registered for the right class so Profe can see your scores...remember all directions are taped to the first three rows of desks by Ms. Ramirez. I will grading these from home today at the end of each period. The VHL will be on the progress report
      • Ser & Estar Sentence Mix-Up (10 puntos) Ser/Estar Sentence MixUp....turn into the folders and please make sure to put all group members names and return your supplies. Supplies for this station are on the blue chair. 
    • Because I have their quiz packets, the quiz corrections will have to wait until I get back.
    • Only once students have finished with VHL and the Ser/Estar Sentence MixUp can students move onto the Pechakucha station
      • ​​Pechakucha Script Outline Before working on the electronic part of your presentation in GoogleSlides, students must first write and have their script signed off by Profesoras Ramirez or Ruddock. Use your Mi Vida to help you! (10 pts)​

      3. Choose ANOTHER PERSON to read the translation to English
      4. This is for an activity later in class :)

    • Work on your peckakucha (in class oral presentation) Take this time to write your script
    • We are going to take this ONE step at a time and will talk more specifically about the rubric and grading next week, for now get started on the words you need to communicate the information on each slide
  • Once students have finished their scripts they may work on their presentations in GoogleClassroom and begin to personalize with pictures to remind you what you want to say
