Hoy es el diecinueve y veinte de abril. Hoy es el miércoles /jueves. 
BLOCK SCHEDULE 1,3,5 miércoles
2,4,6 jueves.

Students will be picking up Chromebooks and taking out their homework as the bell rings. AS SOON AS THE BELL RINGS, please start the Youtube Video. Before starting the video please ask all students to take out a white board and un marcador. I will give all directions through the YouTube video for today's class. An outline of what students will be doing is below & on the back board.

A Empezar: Practice for the next quiz and today's quizlet set with a pizarrita y un marcador. (15 minutos...includes YouTube announcement so please start right away)

***While you work on the quizlet set, the substitute will come around and check your homework. Please help him/her. See below for directions.

  • Entregar los deberes (TURN IN PAQUETE PAGINA 9) The substitute will check you off on the roll-sheet. The substitute will only check you off if the WHOLE assignment is done. 5 points....if you skip even one it will be marked incomplete and you can turn it in when you finish for 3 points
  • Trabajar en los ejercicios en www.vhlcentral.com Hay diecisiete...due el viernes! (10 minutos tops!) Students who are already done with all 17 should be working on tonight's homework. While students work on the vhl assignments the substitute will pass out missing assignment slips 
  • Please re-start YouTube Video for directions from Ms. Ruddock Students will need their group movie packets AND a piece of blank bright colored paper to take notes before starting the movie.   (20 minutos)
    • ​Students will take notes directly on the bright half sheet. Turn this into the substitute when you are finished for credit. ​

  • Mirar la película "El Libro de Mi Vida" Watch the movie the book of life. See start times for each of the classes below. I would like each class to get to 40 minutes in the movie. Por favor warn students that we will have a pop-quiz on Friday about what they watched. They will also have to identify and describe the following main characters...IN SPANISH!!! (25 minutos max)
    • ​Describe....Maria, Manolo, Joaquin, Xibalba, La Catrina Chuy...el cerdo
      • ​1st: 28 minutos
      • 2nd: 15:00 minutes
      • 3rd:28 minutos
      • 4th: 13 minutos
  • En los grupos, In their groups, students will complete page 3 of the movie packet to turn in BY THE END OF THE PERIOD! Please collect and I will grade. (15 minutos)
  • If there is extra time in class...please have students work on packet page 7. If you finish the WHOLE PAGE please show it to the substitute and they will mark you off on the roll sheet.
